Emilienne M. Ireland President, Campaign Advantage Internet ServicesEmi Ireland is president of Campaign Advantage, which provides strategic Internet tools and services for political campaigns and non-profits. Her firm pioneered the only technology for accepting donations via secure online checks that has won explicit approval from the Federal Elections Commission.
Campaign Advantage also received first-place honors in the Campaigns & Elections "Top Five" list, and won the Golden Dot Award for excellence in online campaigning at the Politics Online 2000 Conference sponsored by the George Washington University School of Political Management.
Her training seminars have been attended by thousands of political candidates and non-profit executives in the U.S., Europe, and Canada. Her firm's work has been cited by The Hill, New York Times, USAToday, Wired, Campaigns & Elections, Fox News, Industry Standard, Business 2.0, Interactive Week, Washington Post, and other national media.
Ms. Ireland has over fourteen years' experience as an information systems analyst and Internet technology consultant. She graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia University, and holds an M.Phil. in Anthropology from Yale University, with a concentration in Legal and Political Anthropology.

Phil Tajitsu Nash CEO and General Counsel, Campaign Advantage Internet ServicesPhil Nash is CEO of Campaign Advantage, a firm that provides strategic Internet tools for political campaigns and non-profits. In its August 2000 issue, Campaigns & Elections magazine selected two websites produced by Campaign Advantage among its list of "Top Five Issues-Oriented Candidate Websites" in the nation. First-place honors went to DickGephardt in Congress; also honored was RickJohnson.com. Advocacy websites for state ballot initiatives in Campaign 2000 resulted in high visibility and electoral success in November.
He also is experienced in professional fundraising and business development, and has first-hand knowledge of all major branches of mass media. He has worked as a newspaper editor and magazine journalist (he currently writes Washington Journal, a weekly political commentary column for Asian Week), as host of a nationally-broadcast weekly public radio program on the U.S. Supreme Court, and as producer for television documentaries.
Offline, Mr. Nash teaches Public Policy and Asian American Studies courses at the University of Maryland and provides Internet advocacy training to non-profit and political organizations. He has taught law at Georgetown and C.U.N.Y. Law Schools; served as Founding Executive Director of the National Asian Pacific American Legal Consortium; and worked on behalf of the Japanese American redress movement as a strategist, lobbyist, litigator, and Congressional expert witness.
An honors graduate of New York University, Phil holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and is currently admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey. |
