Who can vote in Colorado?
You can register to vote in Colorado if you are a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and if you have resided in Colorado at your present address for at least 30 days before an election. For more about election rules, visit the Colorado Secretary of State's  website.


How to Register to Vote
If you would like to register, print out the official voter registration form and fill it in. To be registered to vote in an election, you must mail or deliver the form with your original signature to your County Clerk or Recorder 29 days before that election. Note that you must provide your original signature, and may not fax or email the form.

You also can pick up a registration form at most public libraries or local election offices.

 Nov 1 

 

Last day to submit your application for an absentee ballot for the General Election

 

 Nov 5 

 

General Election  7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Getting an Absentee Ballot
January 1, 2002, is the earliest day you can apply for an absentee ballot for an election in 2002. The latest day you may apply is August 9 for the Primary Election, and November 1 for the General Election.
