To the Matsunaka for Congress Committee:
 
I met Stan 16 years ago, and was impressed by his integrity. His conduct in this campaign has been exemplary. We need Stan Matsunaka in Congress. Here is my statement:

Why I am voting for Stan Matsunaka

1.  Musgrave does not represent us
I do not believe candidate Musgrave's positions on many of the important issues are reflective of the population of northern Colorado, and this District. Her positions more reflect the thinking of special interests who want to purchase another Congressperson.

2.  Stan Matsunaka has integrity
I met Stan Matsunaka 16 years ago, and have followed his career and his votes in the Legislature; he represents our population.
He is a person of the highest integrity and holds true to his values which are admirable.

3.  I oppose dishonest and negative campaigning
As a life-long second-generation Republican who has held several offices within the party, I do not wish to return to the vicious days of Watergate, and negative campaigning. I do not appreciate the negative, misinforming campaign being run by the RNC for candidate Musgrave, and have been in contact with McAuliffe about this; we do not need to return to the dark days of slanderous conduct. I am proud of the campaign that Sen. Matsunaka and his staff have conducted. I hope they win.

4.  This district belongs to its citizens—not to special interests
There is a cabal that has controlled this Congressional seat for many years. They have become atrophied in their thinking and self-centered to the extreme in their demands on their representative. It is a time for a power shift, and a change of ownership. This district belongs to the citizens who reside in it, not a small group of vested, self-absorbed special interests for their private lobbying needs.

5.  Stan is the best candidate in many years
Stan is the best candidate, most diligent, best informed, and hardest working to have run in many years. He would be the best for Colorado, and the 4th District.
