No matter where you live, work, or go to school, if you follow the media, you can help Stan's campaign.
|
When you see or hear Stan's campaign mentioned on television or radio, make a note of the station, show title, host, guests, and topic. Send the information to the campaign:
Matsunaka for Congress Committee
211 Jefferson Street, Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524
If you can, tape the show for future reference. You can also respond directly to the show's producers to tell them what you thought of the program. |
|
When you read about Stan's campaign in a newspaper or magazine, clip the article and send a copy to the campaign via mail or email. You can also write a Letter to the Editor to say what you thought of the article. |
|
If you read about Stan's campaign on a website, in a chatroom, or in an email newsletter, forward a copy of the URL (website address) or email to the Stan Matsunaka campaign. |
You can help spread Stan's message yourself. Invite some friends over for dinner and engage them in the issues of the campaign. Send emails to your friends telling them why you support Stan and suggesting that they visit his website at www.Stan2002.com to learn more.
Another way to help the campaign is to generate positive news of your own. Write a letter to the editor of your newspaper. If you are a student, you can use the materials in the Press Kit to write a story for your campus newspaper about why you support Stan Matsunaka for Congress. When your letter or story is published, please send us a copy.
We also encourage individuals and organizations to serve as endorsers of the Campaign, to express support on our Stan's Fans web page, and to speak at campus and community groups in support of the Matsunaka for Congress campaign.
Subscribe to our email updates to stay informed about issues and events in Stan's campaign.
Remember, Stan needs your help to get the word out. You and other grassroots volunteers are the eyes, ears, and voice of Stan's campaignand the margin of victory in 2002.
Thanks for joining Stan's Media Brigade!
