Campaign Advantage Internet Services
About Us
We are nationally-recognized experts in creating websites and developing winning online campaigns for candidates and causes. We wrote a leading book on online advocacy, Winning Campaigns Online, which received the coveted "Excellence" ranking from the Society for Technical Communication in Washington, D.C.

One of our websites was named the nation's Best Local (non-federal) Website by the Institute for Politics and Democracy on the Internet (IPDI) at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM). Other honors include several "Site of the Day" designations by Politics1.com and two selections as "historic" sites by the Library of Congress, which guarantees permanent archiving of the site in the LOC's permanent online archive.

One of our blog ads was cited for excellence, and we also were honored to receive First Place "Pollie" awards from the American Association of Political Consultants for the Best Public Affairs Website, Best Congressional Website, and the Best State Representative Website. Our Spanish language websites also have been cited as among the best in the nation.

We regularly write articles for Campaigns and Elections and other magazines, and we have given lectures and training workshops in English and Spanish in Europe, Canada, and throughout the United States.

We have chosen to keep our company small and do an outstanding job for a select handful of clients. Unlike companies that use their partners to bring in the clients and then put your account under the management of a third-tier worker, our senior partners work directly with our clients and participate in all phases of design and production. Our partners are:

Emi Ireland

Emi Ireland is President of Campaign Advantage, which provides strategic websites, fundraising, and online communications services for candidates, causes, organizations, and corporations. She was named a "Rising Star of American Politics" by Campaigns and Elections magazine, and her firm pioneered the only technology for accepting donations via secure online checks that has received explicit approval from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).

Emi has taught "Politics and the New Media" at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management. She appears regularly in print, and has given training lectures and seminars in Europe, Canada, and across the United States. Her work has been cited by publications such as the New York Times, USA Today, Wired, The Hill Online, and Campaigns & Elections.

Before starting Campaign Advantage, Emi spent over fourteen years as an information systems analyst and Internet technology expert working with some of the biggest names in the computer and Internet industries, including Cisco Systems, IBM, and State Street Bank.

Emi graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia University, and holds an M.A. in Anthropology from Yale University, with a concentration in Legal and Political Anthropology.
